Code of Conduct for Teachers
- All teachers must carry Identity Card issued by the College.
- All teachers must get their appraisal books signed on a regular basis at an interval of fifteen (15) days.
- All teaching staff must always sign the Attendance Register after arrival and they must provide the time of departure while leaving the College. Simultaneously record the arrival and departure in Bio-metric attendance.
- All teachers must follow the College Website regularly.
- Smoking and having any types of intoxication is strictly prohibited in the College premises.
- Use Dustbin properly for garbage to keep the College neat and clean.
- All teachers should adhere to the college time table for their allotted classes. Any modification must be reported to the authority well in advance.
- Mobiles should either be in silent mode or switched off/airplane mode while entering in to the classes and also while attending any meetings.
- All teachers must refrain from enjoying unauthorized leave/s. Leaves must be taken with prior permission from the authority.
- All teachers should inform about their absence from College to the Principal as well as to the respective HODs.
- In the event of any programme of any department the felicitation of any Guest or the Chief Guest should be done with saplings. Flower bouquets are not allowed.
- The College has been declared a plastic free zone. Therefore teachers must ensure to achieve this target/goal by their activities.
- Teachers must perform their duties and responsibilities sincerely as different committee members to help the College administration.
- Always try to see the honesty and integrity of the institution is ensured.
- Teachers must take part in co-curricular and extension programmes of the College to promote the core values of the institution.
- All teachers should prevent ragging of students in any form in the College premises and see to it that the dignity of women (both students and female staff) is maintained.
- All teachers should take proper care of the College property.
- All teachers should uphold, advocate and encourage fellow feeling and respect as per the position.
- All teachers should wear dress cognizant to their profession and social dignity.
- All teachers should always try to achieve academic excellence in their respective sphere.
- All teachers should use modern technology at their level best to keep pace with the fast growing technology and also to keep them afloat in the age of globalization for sustainable development.
- All teachers should always give a patient hearing to the problems of the students and suggest them accordingly.
- All teachers should maintain the attitude ‘You First Me Second’.
- Always try to be an example or role model for students.
- All teachers shall not be engaged in private tuition for commercial purpose.
- All teachers must abide by the rules and regulations set by the Statute of the West Bengal State University, Govt. of WB and UGC.
Code of Conduct for Non-Teaching Staff
- All Non-teaching staff must carry Identity Card issued by the College.
- All teaching staff must always sign the Attendance Register after arrival and they must provide the time of departure while leaving the College. Simultaneously record the arrival and departure in Bio-metric attendance.
- All Non-teaching staff must follow the College Website regularly.
- Smoking and having any types of intoxication is strictly prohibited in the College premises.
- Use Dustbin properly for garbage to keep the College neat and clean.
- The College has been declared a plastic free zone. Therefore all Non-teaching staff must ensure to achieve this goal by their activities..
- Non-teaching staff must maintain the spirit of unity, integrity among themselves and with all other staff of the College.
- In the event of any programme the felicitation of any Guest or the Chief Guest should be done with saplings. Flower bouquets are not allowed.
- Mobiles should either be in silent mode or switched off/airplane mode while attending any meetings.
- Non-teaching staff must abide by the service rules.
- Non-teaching staff must not divulge official information or documents to any outsider. They must never tamper, delete, hide, alter or forge official documents/receipts.
- Always try to see the honesty and integrity of the institution is ensured
- Non-teaching staff must refrain from enjoying unauthorized leave/s. Leaves must be taken with prior permission from the authority.
- Non-teaching staff must always properly execute the duties assigned to them by the higher authority within the stipulated time. They must respect the honour abide by the hierarchy of the authority.
- All Non-teaching staff should take proper care of the College property.

- All Non-teaching staff should wear dress cognizant to their profession and social dignity.
